A message from Ron Damsen, Club President, Posted 3/12/22

Members,

The Dixie Fire came very close to destroying our club. The trap house and rifle house buildings were untouched, as were the pistol and rifle ranges. However, there was some damage to the west end of the Sporting Clay range where we lost some of the stations to the fire. We also lost benches and the safety baffles that protect shooters and throwers. Plans are underway to cost out and replace those structures as soon as weather permits and hazards from the fire are removed. Please be aware that yet to be scheduled logging operations may temporarily suspend access to the ranges. Whereas the shooting events contribute about half our annual revenue, we had a significant shortfall with the cancellation of the last half of the 2021 season. Members who wish, may add a donation to their dues for the rebuilding. Any donations will go in a designated fund for the rebuilding as well as much needed future maintenance.

As you can see on the schedules in the following web pages, we have a full venue of clays, trap, and rifle. With the possibility of weather, logging operations, and other unforeseen events affecting some events, please check this website for any updates. Include your address with your renewal if you wish to be added to the list, and you will be notified in a more timely manner. Your address will not be shared.

The annual cleanup day info is listed below. If there is a weather delay, it will be posted here on the website. Bring rakes, shovels, pitch forks, gloves, etc. The General Meeting will follow at about 10am, including the election of officers. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow members. I hope to see you there.
